Privacy Policy

Effective date:

Foundry24 ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at foundry24.io and a family of Christian devotional mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account in one of our mobile apps, we collect your name, email address, and a password. If you sign in through a third-party provider (e.g., Apple or Google), we receive the profile information you authorize that provider to share.

Subscription & Payment Data

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store your credit card number or payment credentials. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.

User-Generated Content

Our apps may allow you to create journal entries, prayer requests, reading notes, and other content. This data is stored in your account and is only shared with other users when you explicitly choose to do so (e.g., sharing a prayer request with an accountability partner or couple).

Usage & Analytics Data

We use PostHog on both our website and mobile apps to understand how people use our Services. This includes pages or screens visited, feature usage, device type, operating system, and general location (country/region). On our website, we also use Google Analytics for traffic analysis.

Device Information

Our mobile apps may collect device identifiers, operating system version, app version, and crash or error logs to help us diagnose issues and improve stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Manage your account and process subscriptions
  • Deliver devotional content, reading plans, and streaks
  • Enable features you opt into, such as accountability partners, couple sharing, and group challenges
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., account verification, subscription receipts)
  • Analyze usage trends to make our apps better
  • Diagnose technical problems and fix bugs

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of providers, only as needed to operate the Services:

  • Analytics: PostHog, Google Analytics
  • Subscription management: RevenueCat
  • App distribution: Apple App Store, Google Play Store
  • Infrastructure: Cloud hosting and database providers

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog). These help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Our mobile apps do not use cookies but may use device identifiers for analytics purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it. Analytics data is retained in aggregate, anonymized form.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you entrust to us.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of analytics tracking
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@foundry24.io. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
