Hey, I'm Robbie. I'm a software engineer, a husband, and a dad to a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old. I build things for a living, and I've gotten pretty good at spotting problems that software can solve.
Foundry24 is my app studio. The idea is simple: find real problems, build focused products, and ship them as standalone apps — each with its own identity, its own audience, and its own home.
The first thing I built was a collection of devotional apps. That started because I wanted a devotional app for men that wasn't shallow — and I couldn't find one. Everything out there was either a nice quote over a sunset or super dense theology I wasn't going to open at 6am before the kids woke up. So I decided to build what I couldn't find.
Then I realized the problem wasn't just men's devotionals. My wife needed something different. Couples we know wanted something they could do together. The youth group at our church was using stuff that felt like it was written by someone who hadn't talked to a teenager in fifteen years. So it became a whole collection — each app built for a specific audience.
But devotionals are just one line of work. Foundry24 is an app studio — any problem worth solving is fair game. Web or mobile, niche or broad. When I see something worth shipping, I build it, give it its own name, and put it in front of the people who need it.
Why "Foundry"? A foundry is where raw material gets shaped into something useful. Heat, pressure, repetition. That's how good software gets made too. You show up, you build, you refine, you ship, and then you do it again.
